Nuts are nutritional powerhouses, providing not only a good protein source, but healthy fats. Many nuts are sources of vitamins E and B2. They are also rich in folate fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and selenium. While they are enjoyed by people, many wild animals also rely on nuts for nutrition. Nuts can be eaten on their own but also are delicious additions to recipes.
