National Minority Donor Awareness Week

August 1st - August 7th
This intensive awareness campaign focuses on obstacles related to minorities and organ donation. It also helps promote healthy living and disease prevention to decrease the need for transplantation, and reaches out to all ethnic groups. National Minority Donor Awareness Day observations have included prayer breakfasts, health walks and donor drives.
