The country celebrates National Hospital Week as an opportunity to thank all of the dedicated individuals involved in hospital operations – physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, food service workers, volunteers, administrators and so many more – for their contributions to public health. National Hospital Week always falls in the week (Sunday-Saturday) of Florence Nightingale’s birthday (May 12).
