Falling off bicycles, tripping on the playground, getting injured while playing on a sports team: Children are active and have the potential to get hurt in their activities. Emergency Medical Services for Children Day serves as an opportunity for local communities and medical personnel to focus on increasing public awareness regarding the overwhelming need for specialized emergency care for children nationwide.
This event always falls on the Wednesday during Emergency Medical Service Week.
