Daylight Saving Time Ends

November 3rd, 2024 Individuals move their clock times back one hour at the end of Daylight Savings Time. Darkness descends earlier and earlier until the shortest day of the year — the winter solstice — upon which days will incrementally grow longer. Clocks are to be adjusted at 2:00 a.m. When Daylight Savings Time begins and ends, it is also a good opportunity to replace the batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in homes and businesses.
