Constitution Week

September 17th - September 23rd

Company: Daughters of the American Revolution
Web site: http://www.dar.org/national-society/education/constitution-week

Constitution Week is the commemoration of America's most important document. It is celebrated annually during the week of September 17-23. The observance runs annually from September 17-23. It was officially enacted on August 2, 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower from a congressional resolution petitioned by the Daughters of the American Revolution, but it was George W Bush who officially declared the inception of Constitution Week in September 2002. The purpose of the observance week is to promote study and education about the constitution which was originally adopted by the American Congress of the Confederation on September 17, 1787.

On the anniversary of the Constitution and Constitution Week, schools and businesses can shed light on the importance of this document. Search "constitution" in the Creative Library of MetroCreativeConnection.com for applicable images for promotions, posters and ads.
