Atomic Bomb Dropped on Nagasaki: Anniversary, 1945

On August 9, 1945 during World War II, an atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan three days after the bombing of Hiroshima. The bomb exploded on 11:02 a.m. local time, killing an estimated 70,000 people.
