On June 19th, National Watch Day recognizes an industry which has been around for more than 500 years and is steadily evolving. Nordstrom founded National Watch Day to celebrate the history and design of watchmaking. Watches are a sign of taste, culture, design sense, and rich history. Watches were not only crafted for telling time but have always been a symbol of something personal. Timepieces are often passed down from generation to generation, often gifted as a rite of passage, and essentially become heirlooms.
