September 9th - September 14th Substitute teachers may not get the same fanfare as full-time teachers, however, they teach when the regular teacher cannot and continually adjust to different classroom situations. Plus, they help to shape young minds as does every educator. The first full week in May is devoted to showing substitute teachers just how important they are to education.
