The Home Baking Association has designated February as Bake for Family Fun Month, dedicated to the great taste, good nutrition, economy, and family fun of traditional home baking. Families can explore the recipes that have become traditional and passed down through generations, or try any number of treats that catch their eyes.
Working together in the kitchen is yet another way that families can spend time together. Research shows that children who frequently interact with their parents and guardians over mealtime are less likely to resort to substance abuse, and are more successful in educational pursuits.
