Forty two million people face hunger in the U.S. today — including nearly 13 million children and more than five million seniors. Hunger knows no boundaries — it touches every community in the U.S. This event educates and recognizes the efforts of food banks, their donors and volunteers to alleviate hunger in the US. Observed at local food banks around the country.
Food banks get their donations through community involvement. They may need all the promotion help they can get to further assist with their collection collection efforts.
