Learning Disabilities Awareness Month is a time where people pay particular attention to children and adults with learning disabilities. During this month, the public can teach one person something new about learning disabilities. One in five children has learning and attention problems associated with dyslexia and ADHD. While many children enrolled in school have IEPs and other specialized programs for learning, millions other have not had their special needs identified and recognized.
Learning Disabilities Awareness Month can be made more impactful by targeting doctors offices, therapists, school professionals, counselors, and anyone involved in a students care team with complementary advertising.
