Everyone has places that are important to them; places they care about. During National Preservation Month people can celebrate the places that are meaningful to them and to their communities. These can including historic buildings, monuments, homes, parks, and other areas of interest. National Preservation Month also may serve as the catalyst for establishing grassroots preservation efforts.
