National Women's History Month is a time for reexamining and celebrating the wide range of women’s contributions and achievements that are too often overlooked in the telling of US history. Women played pivotal roles in the country's history that can be worth exploring throughout the month of March.
When searching the MetroCreativeConnection Libraries for material for National Women's History Month, add a second keyword along with "women," then click the "Exact Match" link above the Search box. For example, "women history" will become "+women +history" with Exact Match clicked. This tells the search engine to locate all items associated with both keywords. Additional helpful keywords to use are "Victorian," "business," "medical," "mechanic," "construction," "bar" or "mother."
