Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week

Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week is a national program that occurs the week preceding American Thanksgiving each year. People work together to recognize and address the problems of hunger and homelessness in nearby communities. Various educational efforts, fundraising and advocacy events take place during this seven-day period. The event was founded in 1975 at Villanova University.
