The arrival of summer's sticky, steamy weather is a reminder that July 3 through August 15 is designated "Air
Conditioning Appreciation Days," when people take action to combat the Dog Days of Summer. It serves as a reminder for people to give cooling equipment the necessary checks and repairs before scorching days arrive in earnest.
Since Air Conditioning Appreciation Days straddles the months of July and August, sell multiple-run campaigns for the event. Appliance stores can have mid-season air conditioner sales while heating and cooling companies and auto repair facilities can have summer tune-up specials.
