National Rice Month (NRM) celebrates the rice harvest and honors the contribution of the U.S. rice industry to America's economy. Rice is the second highest worldwide production after maize (corn). Rice is the most important grain for human consumption and is eaten the world-over. The USA Rice Federation conducts special programs to celebrate NRM each September.
September plays host to many food-related events, including National Chicken Month, National Honey Month, Whole Grains Month and National Mushroom Month. Think about combining them for your promotions or to create a niche publication. Get headings, photos, images and ads in the MCC Libraries.
