The new school year means many changes for students, parents and teachers. It also means a greater number of motorists and pedestrians will be on the roadways prior to and after school hours. When school is in session, greater emphasis can be placed on keeping children safe as they make their ways to and from the campus. Adults also can be aware and become educated about backpack safety, playground safety, and safe sports play this time of year.
