Grandma Moses Day

September 7th, 2024 Anna Mary Robertson Moses, also known as "Grandma Moses," became widely famous for her nostalgic paintings depicting rural American life. She was a modern primitive American painter born in Greenwich, N.Y., and started painting at age 78. When Moses celebrated her 100th Birthday it was proclaimed Grandma Moses Day in New York State.
