The Friday before Memorial Day is dubbed, "Don't Fry Day," as an urging to use precautions out in the sun at the start of the summer vacation season. People are urged to follow as many precautions as possible when spending time out in the sun, including:
* Do Not Burn or Tan
* Seek Shade
* Wear Sun-Protective Clothing
* Generously Apply Sunscreen
* Use Extra Caution Near Water, Snow, and Sand
* Get Vitamin D Safely
At the start of the summer season, promote sun, water and outdoor safety. Rely on Metro's extensive catalog of complementary images, ads and headers to build the pages that can inform readers.
