What do you get if you take the chocolate out of a brownie? Well you get a blondie of course! Blonde brownies, also called blondies, begin with a brown sugar base. Some say they have a butterscotch taste to them, and sometimes molasses adds extra flavor. They're chewy and similar in texture to brownies, just without the cocoa. And blondies can be used in place of brownies for any of one's favorite dessert recipes.
