National Boss Day is an opportunity for all employees to honor their bosses, It occurs annually, the weekday closest to October 16. Patricia Bays Haroski originated this event in 1958 in honor of her own boss, who also happened to be her father. It has become a global affair, and is also celebrated in Ireland, South Africa, and India. Egypt has their own Boss Day on December 10.
