National Alzheimer’s Disease Month is designed to increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease and what the Alzheimer's Association is doing to advance research and help patients, their families and their caregivers. Alzheimer's Disease is one of the dementias that can affect individuals, particularly as they age. There is no cure currently, so increased awareness and early treatment can help give people the help they need to live longer, more fulfilled lives.
