For many people, every day is a chance to promote Down syndrome awareness — advocating for people to be included in school and community activities, highlighting their talents, giving them opportunities to show just how much they have to share. However, October is when everyone can really rally behind promotion efforts. There are many ways to highlight Down syndrome awareness in the community. And the good news is that many others are taking notice by including children and adults with Down syndrome in advertising campaigns, and building entire programs around inclusivity.
