More than 20,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year, and approximately 15,000 women die
annually from the disease. National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month serves to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian
cancer, helping to improve the survival rate and quality of life for women with the disease.
Although the topic of cancer is seldom one people want to bring up, awareness efforts can help shed light on common and rare forms of the disease, pave the way for research and intervention, and galvanize support efforts in communities. A cancer information section produced with the help of the Editorial Library can be a springboard for community effort and simultaneously drive ad sales for respective doctors, health clinics, pharmacies, and other health-related businesses.
