It is important to recognize that mental health issues affect children and adolescents in addition to adults. This has been especially true as children continue to navigate the global pandemic and attempt to cope with the many different challenges and changes that have come their ways. Children's Mental Health Awareness Week gives the public the opportunity to openly discuss children's mental health and work collectively to give children the help and support they need.
