In 2020, Senator Maria Cantwell and Congressman Brian Baird helped heed the call for more transparency and information about the methamphetamine epidemic in the country. Raising awareness about the extreme dangers of using meth may help keep the drug out of more communities. That is why National Meth Awareness Day was established.
