LIBRARIES
- Images - Choose from hundreds of thousands of top-quality images by some of the finest photographers and illustrators working in the industry today. Search for graphics, photos, headings, backgrounds, frames and headings by keyword or in combination with convenient pulldown menus for Image Type, Graphic Format and Color.
- Spec Ads & Covers - As the name implies, this Library is the go-to source for all your cover design and ad needs. Search by keyword or in conjunction with pulldown menus for Column Size, Color and Metro special Ad Type categories, including Double Truck, Directory, Shaped Ads, Single Sheets, BonusIdeas covers, Sales Events directories and Marketplace full-page ads, as well as collateral marketing material under the MetroBiz category.
All ads and covers are delivered as QuarkXPress files that can also be opened in Adobe InDesign. All associated material for each ad is downloaded at the same time as the document, or individual elements within an ad -- including an ASCII text file -- can be selected for separate download for ultimate control in customizing ads to suit your advertisers' needs. - Editorial - Find features in both English and Spanish (ConTexto Latino) for popular themes such as weddings, home, health, pets, seniors, holidays and more, as well as general-interest, calendar- and event-related stories. Seach by keyword, Category or themed Edition. Accompanying imagery is automatically downloaded with each feature (where applicable).
Plus, download stories that have been utilized in the online special sections of Timely Features MicroSites to create companion print editions. In addition, get weekly crossword puzzles; Weekly Kids' Corner educational games and trivia; Prime Cuts recipes; Weekly horoscopes; word finds; daily Metro Sudoku puzzles. Also, get videos and collateral materials to use in your online and print special sections, including print cover designs, promotional ads and ready-to-sell Sales Event directories. - Auto Photos - This optional online service gives you a valuable archive of top-quality auto photos from 2000 to present, for all makes and models. Choose from multiple, consistently lit views of each vehicle, color views for every manufacturer color (as of 2006 models), and three interior shots of each vehicle to accommodate the needs of your auto advertiser and layout design. Search by Make, Model and Year for the exact auto you need.
- Logos & Trademarks - Get the brand name logos and company trademarks you need to assist advertisers in connecting their businesses with the nationally known brands that consumers want, in this optional service. Choose from thousands of color and black-and-white logos and trademarks. Search alphabetically and by manufacturer.
- Metro Plus Business(R) - The Plus Business Library is the ultimate networking tool by providing articles describing the "how-tos" of executing successful ad and promotion ideas that other publications have already proven profitable for creating special sections, contests, themed pages, sales incentives, special events, Web pages, and more. Each story ends with contact information so you can communicate directly with the people involved in making their featured idea a success.
