National Water Quality Month reminds people to take a hard look at what households and communities are doing to protect sources of fresh water. People can make an effort to keep water sources clean. Using non-toxic house products, not dumping things other than water down storm drains, and not flushing medication down the toilet or sink are just a few things one can do to keep the water in an area clean.
