Card playing has been around for centuries and has long been a popular form of recreation for people of all ages. There are scores of different card games available. Children are often introduced to card games early on with memory games and simple number-recognition games like Go Fish. Cards can be played for fun, or are part of high-stakes gambling. What makes cards so attractive is that they are inexpensive to buy and the game play can last as long as players desire.
