There are many ways people can do their parts to protect the environment, and Earth Hour is one of them. This event reaches more than one billion people in 4,000 cities around the world, inviting communities, businesses and governments to switch off lights for one hour at 8:30 PM, local time. This illustrates the community effort to advocate and illustrate the problems of climate change.
