HONORABLE MENTION: BEST AUTO, 4-PAGE, WRAP, SPREAD
Black Friday isn't just for Americans anymore. Many Canadian retailers and businesses are hopping on the band wagon. This 4-page car spread, which was stapled around the outside of our paper, couldn't have been done without use of the vehicle artwork from Metro Creative Connection. I tinted the windows in PS and added a filter or two, and voila, a Black Friday ad series was born. (Submitted by Matt, Black Press)View Ad

Here is London Kentucky, we are very excited for the upcoming holiday season. The entire staff, along with myself, take great pride in our work, and like to help Christmas shine a little ighter with our advertising. With each ad, we try to not only ad a little bit more Christmas cheer into the community, but also make our ads as personal as possible. We do this by using contributing things with a local vibe, and not just doing "cookie cutter" design. I hope you enjoy these designs of the many that are designed here at The Sentinel-Echo. "Win your Wish" is a contest our newspaper developed anding for in partnership with the Downtown Maple Ridge BIA. The goal of the Ad was to draw audiences in to see the great prize packs available when shopping locally in the downtown core for the holidays. I wanted the Ad to be colourful, have strong contrast and jump off the page when in print, but stand a part from your typical holiday advertising that gets lost at this time of year. Thank you for considering my entry! (Submitted by Carly, Black Press)
