I like to layer my art, so I used a flag & silhouette background with the banner & Veterans Day header over it. I also used a photo of a memorial that one of our reporters had taken to tie it in locally. Our town had just received one of 22 Governor's Hometown Awards a week before the holiday for the veterans memorial that was constructed.(Submitted by Tiffany, Canton Daily Ledger)
