Through resources such as evidence-based strategy documents for asthma management, and events such as the annual celebration of World Asthma Day, GINA is working to improve the lives of people with asthma in every corner of the globe. Asthma is a condition of the breathing passages, marked by spasms in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing. It usually results from an allergic reaction or other forms of hypersensitivity.
Educating the public about asthma and triggers can help sufferers breathe easier, knowing that help may be around when needed.
