The last Tuesday of January each year is National Plan for Vacation Day. It's an opportunity to think ahead, plot out a destination and get an itinerary in order. It's also an opportunity to commit to time off, as it has been determined many Americans are only taking a fraction of their hard-earned vacation hours.
Travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, online booking sites, rental car companies, and tourism associations are prime businesses that can benefit from complementary advertising during Plan For Vacation Day.
