Because hugging is something everyone can do and because it is a healthy form of touching, this day should be spent hugging anyone who will accept a hug, especially family and friends. The most “Huggable People” of the year will be announced.
I lieu of COVID-19, some hugs may need to be virtual this year. So feel free to reach out with a digital hug to let others know they are being thought about.
