National Engineers Week is an annual observance, cosponsored by more than 140 national engineering societies, federal agencies and major corporations. It features classroom programs in elementary and secondary schools throughout the US, hands-on activities in science centers and museums, engineering workplace tours, the Future City Competition (www.futurecity.org) and the annual “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.”
