Every year, the U.S. President, U.S. Senate, state governors, and officials around the world proclaim the third week in October CHARACTER COUNTS! Week. In 2008 it marked the 25th anniversary of consecutive presidential proclamations for CC Week. No matter what one's political or religious affiliation, this event is about the universal values people share.
