Girl Scout Founders Day

October 31st, 2022 The Girl Scouts organization was begun by Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low, who gathered 18 girls in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia, to share what she had learned abroad about a new outdoor and educational program for youth. These first Girl Scouts pioneered what turned into an organization for girls to experience many things, and learn what it means to be a leader.
