The second Sunday in June each year is set aside to serve as World Pet Memorial Day. It is an opportunity to honor a special pet in one's life who has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Pets can bring great adventures into people's lives and families. When they go on to rest, it can be a great absence. Gone but not forgotten certainly is the sentiment for this event.
