Here's my "Outsparkle Santa" ad entry for your Best Ad with Santa Contest. A large, local jewelry store tried to incite readers into purchasing jewelry to outsparkle Santa's gifts. They wanted the engagement rings ("A Christmas Proposal") to stand out, so the swirly pattern and green ribbon were added. I used several pieces of Metro art to build this ad (the classy swirly backgrounds, ribbon and two photos). The ad was a huge success since they sold lots of jewelry and made it a Christmas "she'll never forget!" (Submitted by Mary, Lakes News Shopper)
