Women Today Magazine a Perfect Tie-In to Local Bridal Fair

Publisher distributes Women Today magazine at a local bridal fair to connect advertisers with their target audience

CREATE: Shaw Local News Network’s Sauk Valley Media published a Women Today magazine for distribution at a local bridal fair they co-sponsored. Shaw Media advertising operations director Megan Hampton quickly converted a Metro Templated Special Section (TSS) from tab to magazine, with articles, ad spots and images already in place.

SELL: With a targeted audience of women set to attend the bridal fair, Sauk Valley advertising director Crystal Lake targeted salons, boutiques, gift shops, women’s apparel retailers and yoga studios, among other local businesses. The team printed 2,000 copies to distribute at the bridal fair, with additional copies bag-stuffed at local grocery stores.

PROFIT: The magazine produced successful results for Sauk Valley, generating $1,500 in niche revenue.
