Come Celebrate with the National Women’s History Project
This year’s theme is Women Taking the Lead to Save Our Planet.
The National Women’s History Project, based in Santa Rosa, CA, is hosting an exciting local celebration and you are invited! Over 100 women in the forefront of the “green” movement from all across the country are the 2009 National Women’s History Month Honorees.
The National Women’s History Project will recognize eight local
Honorees at a special event on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, CA.
A Wine and Cheese Reception will be held at 6:30 P.M. before the critically acclaimed performance of A Sense of Wonder, which start at 7:30 P.M. This enchanting one-woman show, written and performed by Kauilani Lee is based on the life and work of Rachel Carson, a true visionary in the modern ecological movement.
This celebration of Sonoma County’s “Green” Movement will also include “Green” Vendors and a Silent Auction. Tickets to this not to be missed event are available on-line at www.nwhp.org or at call
