It's been 10 years since Texas Press has staged a statewide meeting on Galveston Island, and we're finally going there again!

The Texas Press 2010 Midwinter Conference & Trade Show will be at the luxurious Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center, Thursday, Jan. 21, through Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010.

Dues-paying members and associate members are invited to register, and this meeting is especially appealing for TexSCAN participating newspapers, because one person from each participating newspaper may attend without paying registration, without paying for two room nights, and without paying for scheduled meals on the conference program.

Not a bad deal, especially with an outstanding lineup of speakers on highly relevant topics and our annual Trade Show and Silent Auction in the convention center that is attached to the hotel. The 60-booth trade show is the only one of its kind in Texas, because it caters especially to paid-circulation newspapers like yours.
