National Orthodontic Health Month

A beautiful, healthy smile is only the most obvious benefit of orthodontic treatment. Orthodontic care plays an important role in dental health, overall physical health and emotional well-being. National Orthodontic Health Month is sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the oldest and largest dental specialty organization in the world, established in 1900. The AAO supports research and education leading to quality patient care, as well as increased public awareness of the need for and benefits of orthodontic treatment.
