Parkinson's Disease is a neurodegenerative disease that can affect movement. Many people with Parkinson's Disease experience tremors that notably occur in the hands and feet. The illness can lead to impaired mobility and other quality of life issues. There is no cure for Parkinson's, but various medications treat the symptoms and may be able to head off more severe issues. World Parkinson's Day is on the calendar to shed light on this condition and rally people to help discover a cure, or to reach out to someone in need.
