AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Month celebrates the commitment it takes to have a canine companion, with focus on educational and entertaining topics such as obedience/agility, low-cost microchipping, breed rescue information, and kids' safety around dogs. Dogs that are well trained and cared for can go to live long, healthy lives.
Use this month's event as a springboard for a local pet adoption/dog training event in the community. Gear it toward animal-related advertisers, such as pet stores, shelters, dog trainers, supply and feed stores, and more.
